1. HISTORY OF THE SETTLEMENT
This settlement was inaugurated on 4th February 2005. There are a total of 43 housing units here and the population is about 160 people. Of this, there are about 70 men, 55 women and 35 children. This was a settlement that was built for the rehabilitation of people affected with leprosy and their families, so that they can also live a life of dignity and better living conditions. The BALPART trust & their patrons were instrumental in the development of this settlement by overseeing the proper completion of the project and also by funding the project.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE SETTLEMENT
The settlement has a linear pattern of development with the main streets laid out in concrete. The settlement also has a church within the layout. There is a canal running in the middle of the settlement through which storm water and waste water from surrounding areas flow.
