Evan Griggs, 14 LAKE HARRIET SCHOOL MINNEAPOLIS If I could be a superhuman and could choose any two superpowers I wanted, I would choose to be able to talk in every language and to be able to mediate and resolve every problem or feud in the world. I would try to stop wars by hearing the reasons the war was being fought. Then I would try to solve the problem of the war by making a compromise. By stopping wars, you stop all of the innocent suffering and death that come with it and thus save even more people. My name would be A Good Citizen. . It could help, but I want to save the world. I want to feed the world and I want to stop the war. Wouldn't it be nice if we had everything we need? People wouldn't be cold in the streets, girls wouldn't have to sell their bodies or be found dead somewhere, but we can't have that. People are too crazy. You asked me what powers I would want to have. I choose none. Sure, I could have said, "Kill all the bad guys." I choose to save the world, but in my own way. . I used my immense strength to ram into the asteroid and pulverize it. After I broke apart the asteroid, I noticed that now there were just a bunch of small asteroids headed for Earth. I used my super-strong lungs to blow the smaller pieces out of orbit. When I returned to Earth, I was given the title of Asteroid Buster and became an employee of the federal government.
