ST. JOSEPH PARISH ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL                                          
December 21, 2009

Tim Forde called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
Members present were: Tim Forde, Linda Busch, Jeff Donahue & Dave Voller.
Absent were, Laura Herfurth.
Ex-Officio members present were: Fr. Jim.       Absent, Sr. Lois Anne Palkert & Rachel Kimball.
Agenda was approved.
Minutes of the November meeting were approved.  
Finance report was reviewed and approved.

Current Reports
a. Area Stewardship Committee Report- The work Sr. Lois is doing in the Time and Talent and Position Descriptions and Building and Grounds Maintenance Committee is a big part of the work eventually overseen by the Area Stewardship Committee.
b. Unity through Communication- Parish contribution envelopes and mass times were discussed.
c. Chalice replating- 2 chalices have been replated at $144.00 each.
d. DMA Project- The donor level is similar to last year. $11,120 was pledged this year.
e. Staff Reports- Disappointment was expressed by both Staff and parishioners regarding the number of families who did not stay for Mass after the Advent program.

Unfinished Business & Projects
1. Flashing around skylights – nothing to report
2. Parish Life Focus Group – met on November 24th and decided that the biggest need in a parking lot.
3. Parish Building Committee – after much discussion they decided that the need they can work on first is expanding the parking lot.
4. Parish Maintenance Committee – Fr. Jim will work on this after Christmas.   Jason Smith has been hired to remove snow.
5. Position Descriptions – Sr. Lois is working on this.  

Current Business
1. Social Hall and West 2 Classrooms floor covering – updated bid submitted for $11,453.62 installed.
2. Offering Envelope issues – Many people do not use envelopes.   Will look into cheaper boxed sets.
3. Auto Withdrawal Offertory – this will be part of the Stewardship effort this winter.
4. Special Collection – A...
