Gang’s do not play a positive role in society

Introduction
Good morning/afternoon class, my name is Zunaid Miah. Today I am going to talk to you a little bit about, ‘gangs and how they do not play a positive role in society.’ Please be quiet and listen well as I deliver my verdict on gangs, I hope you enjoy what I have to say.
So, what are gangs and what do so called gangsters do?
Gangs are a group of people who usually behave and hang out together in numbers. Gangsters are most likely known to be disruptive and anti-social to mainstream society. Gangsters are also known for promoting violence, drugs and fighting against other gangs or people they dislike. I once interviewed a gang member when I went to docks, his name is Mohamed Ahmed, and this is what he said when I asked him, what do gangsters do?                                                                                             “yo blud i is ganster, wot we do yh is we chill blud yu gets me?   We aint no criminals goin round takin stuff frm yo, we aint no pot smokin rebels or woteva yous fink of us yh, we do wot we want yh, nd do it wen we want blud, say no more, get out of ere blud before I shank yha.” As you can see by what this gang member had to say gangs are a major threat to our society, so before I could get injured by this crazy gangster I decided to run away for my own health!
After a little bit of observation, I discovered that gang life takes over everything, leaving no time for school, work, or any other commitments that a member may have made prior to joining. Many people who join gangs have a few similarities. Most of them do not like their normal lives and prefer being in gangs to try and get away from problems they might have with families and friends. Being in a gang gives them a chance to socialize with another group of people even if it’s for the wrong reasons.   As some would ask, how would this help people who join gangs?
As I stated earlier, gangs tend to do illegal acts....
