ALL-AREA WRESTLING COACH OF THE YEAR
Team: Fort Pierce Central Year with team: 12th This season: Wrestling one of the area’s most challenging schedules, Crespo guided the Cobras to a 15-10 dual-meet record, including the Destito Memorial Duals title. Central went on to win the District 14-2A championship, its first since 2008 and area-best 14th overall. The Cobras also were runner-up in Region 4-2A, matching their best finish since winning in 1994, and sent six wrestlers to state. Two wrestlers placed as Central tied for 17th place in Class 2A.
